Raoul Iacometti

Raoul Iacometti, born in Milan in 1961, is a freelance photographer that is best described as eclectic, having dedicated both his personal research and his commercial work to the most different fields in the art, such as reportage, going through food and beverages, interior design photography, landscapes and many others. His most remarkable results, though, were most likely achieved in wedding photography, where his innovative and creative approach could really shine at its best.

His photographs have been published on trade magazines, international fairs’ catalogues and have appeared on websites, calendars and CD covers.

His artworks have been displayed in several personal and collective exhibitions both in Italy and abroad. Among some of his most important works we find “Di terra e di fuoco” (2006), “Ai confini del mare” (2003/2008), “Tre giorni a Madrid” (2007), one copy of which is also displayed at the Archivio Fotografico Italiano (Italian photographic archive), “I suoni delle Dolomiti” (2007), “Di serra” (2008), “Quale madre” (2008) dedicated to maternity and “Botteghe” (2009) a work that concentrates on the agrifood sector and on the importance of food in daily life. He works both with analogue cameras (Leica, Polaroid, medium format) and Canon Eos digital cameras. He was awarded several prizes both in national and in international photography contests.

Well acknowledged, he had the privilege of having many of his photographs held by important private collections.

He is available to work in Italy and abroad.
